About Sledwork – German Dog Sport Equipment Since 1992
SLEDWORK has been developing specialist equipment for active and working dogs since 1992.
The story began when Martina and Titus Uepach discovered their passion for sled dogs and their pack grew to 13 Greenland Dogs. At the time, dependable mushing equipment was difficult to find, so Martina brought her tailoring skills and Titus his practical design and woodworking experience to the problem. They began developing their own harnesses, lines, dog bags and sleds.
Designed by watching dogs work
Those early years were built around testing, observation and continual improvement. Rather than starting from a fashion trend, SLEDWORK learned by watching dogs move and pull in real equipment. That approach still sits at the heart of the brand: fit, freedom of movement, comfort and durability come first.
Continuous development
SLEDWORK products evolve through practical use. New ideas are tested with dogs on trails and refined before they become part of the range. A pulling harness should allow a dog to work efficiently, just as a canicross belt should help the runner manage traction comfortably.
Second-generation SLEDWORK
In 2018, Lisa and Fabian took over the family business and continued its development as a modern production company. Development, administration and production are based together in Burladingen in south-west Germany.

SLEDWORK equipment is made in Germany, with an emphasis on dependable production, product quality and shorter, more transparent supply chains wherever possible.
Built for a long working life
For SLEDWORK, sustainability is closely connected to durability. Equipment that performs well and lasts longer needs replacing less often. The aim remains straightforward: functional, lightweight and durable dog-sport equipment designed for real use.

SLEDWORK arrived in the UK in 2021, bringing the German-developed range closer to UK canicross, bikejoring, mantrailing and active-dog customers.
